Irresistible Ladybug as well as Cat Noir Miraculous (also known as Miraculous Ladybug) is an French CGI animated series in French CGI animation. The show premiered across the world in the September in 2015.The show was licensed by Nickelodeon between 2015 and 2016 before rights transfer to the morning children’s block “KidsClick” from 2017 until 2019 when the block was shut down. In the same time, Netflix picked up the SVOD rights to the initial 3 seasons. First season the second season, season 3, and the fourth season all comprise 26 half-hour shows. Web series as well as extra web-exclusive content were released following the first season. Two high school pupils, Marinette and Adrien, are selected to be Paris super-villains, Ladybug as well as Cat Noir. Each of them has the Miraculous, a precious stone that is connected to the amazing creatures (Kwamis) which give them powers.Their goal is to prevent their Gabriel Agreste a.k.a Hawk Moth/Scarlet Moth who is determined to steal their Miraculouses from wrecking destruction to the city by forming ever more dangerous supervillains, all the while being in high school while keeping their names hidden.
In high school, Marinette is in love with Adrien but is unable to reveal it to him, and she is awkward when Adrien is present. As the superhero of the world, Cat Noir loves Ladybug but his ego doesn’t like her. Marinette prefers Adrien regardless! Through the school year and their adventures Ladybug discovers a lot of good things about Cat Noir while Marinette grows ever closer to Adrien and makes huge efforts for her to get over her shyness.
Production
The initial concept for Ladybug was developed in the mind of Thomas Astruc in the year 2005. A few days later, following a meeting with an attractive young lady wearing an ladybug top and was working with her Thomas was playing around with the concept of the idea of a ladybug and soon created an adhesive notepad with the style of a Ladybug. The idea of the character was a success. very well, Thomas began to develop the character by drawing new illustrations (like the ones seen on counterfeit comic covers, such as the Mini Menace Ladybug) and built the world that revolved around it, influenced by comics universes like Marvel. Thomas continued to work on his idea until he came across Jeremy Zag, a producer at Zagtoon which allowed Thomas to create what he believed was best with the idea.
There were numerous changes Ladybug underwent during its the development. The original intention was to appeal to older audiences such as teenagers and young adults. It featured more political content and a dark tone. However, as stated by the writer director Sebastien Thibaudeau “Some aspects impeded the perception of this show, and nobody understood why”,so the team worked to make it more appealing to appeal to a younger audience.
Comic books
Miraculous has been a collection of comics in the works and launched throughout and United States and worldwide. It was the initial collection of comics debuted in July 6 adapting television shows to graphic novel format. Miraculous Adventures was the first comic that was original was officially launched on July 19, 2017.

International releases
Miraculous Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir was first made available within the United States on December 6 in 2015 . It premiered on Nickelodeon. The show is currently streaming via Netflix and was available on the children’s TV network KidsClick until March 31st in 2019. The 8th of April was when it began broadcasting in the US on Disney Channel US.
